Eight snakes are worshiped mainly on this day. The names of the Ashtnagas are –
1. Ananta, 2. Vasuki, 3. Padma, 4. Mahapadma, 5. Takshaka, 6. Kulir, 7. Karkata and 8. Shankha.
India is known as a land of festivals. A few days ago friendship day and yoga day has been celebrated happily. Now Nag Panchami, Independence day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Vishwakarma Puja 2021, Muharram, Christmas and many others festivals are yet to come.
